The JSU Percussion Studio is VERY excited to welcome Brazilian Percussionist, Fernando Hashimoto to JSU! Dr. Hashimoto will spend time with eh studio for an ENTIRE WEEK! He will perform an evening concert as well as masterclasses during his visit.
I am SO excited to tour the beautiful country of Italy to perform concerts and present masterclasses! The tour will last about five days in total; the details/venues are currently being worked out.

I am VERY excited to be giving a performance of the percussion concerto, Invisible Cities by Dinuk Wijeratne with the world-renowned Dallas Winds! I will be joining the stage with three great friends: Oni Lara, Nigel Fernandez, and Cory Fica. Dallas Winds is under the direction of Maestro Jerry Junkin.
I will be giving a presentation titled, A Practical Approach for Developing the Concert Buzz Roll within your High School Students.
I will be playing Latin percussion with some very skilled jazz performers form the state of Alabama. This will be a session focusing on new jazz literature for middle and high school ensembles.
My good friend and I, Michael Jones, will be giving a performance of Keiko Abe's Variations on Japanese Children's Songs III with the I.P.E.C. winner Lone Star High School at this years PASIC.
Very excited to be performing Wijerante's "Invisible Cities" at the 2016 Interlochen Arts Camp this summer! Along with myself, the other soloists are Oni Lara, Nigel Fernandez, and Cory Fica. The ensemble will be conducted by the one and only Jerry Junkin.
Excited, honored, and humbled to be joining The Cavaliers Front Ensemble staff for this coming summer. I'll be teaming up some of the best including Alan Miller, Joe Roach, Rob Pastor, and Erick Eckstrom.
This is Brian Zator's 15th year at TAMU-C! He is putting together an alumni concert on May 7th at 730pm at TAMU-C. I will be playing a solo from my past DMA recital.... maybe Burritt Variations, Dances of Earth and Fire, or a little bit of Bach. We will see!
